Cancelled - April Trade Day

After a lot of consideration, it is with regret that the NGIV Board have decided to cancel our April Trade Day due to the COVID-19 virus. As you can imagine it is not a decision we have come to lightly and is one that has been made in an evolving landscape.

Having explored variations of event delivery to minimise risk and sought advice from the venue, Government officials, the stand holders, buyers and our peers; we have reached the conclusion that it would be irresponsible to the community as a whole if we were to proceed.

Not only is there a potential risk to the health and safety of our attendees but proceeding could also jeopardise the Industry’s current ability to trade.

We understand the financial impact for all involved and all stand holders will not be billed for April and for buyers you will receive a credit towards your 2021 subscription. We recommend, if you haven’t already, that trade day buyers make contact with your suppliers to enquire about securing stock and delivery. In regard to delivery, you may wish to contact one of the following plant freight providers for delivery options:

This decision relates only to our April Trade Day at this stage. We will assess our May Trade Day nearer the time and of course we will continue to update you as and when we know.

We would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone to continue operating your business within guidelines from Victoria's Chief Health Officer. We are all in this together and one business doing the wrong thing has the potential to have a negative impact on the entire Industry.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries relating to the cancellation of our April Trade Day.

We appreciate your patience and your ongoing support.
