Horticulture Trainer
Location: Mornington Peninsula
Status/Hours: Part Time / Full Time Positions Vacant
Role Overview:
• Deliver Certificate II and III training in Horticulture and related qualifications in the workplace and classroom
Responsibilities:
Learner Engagement
• Support learners to gain the best educational outcomes possible
• Deliver engaging inclusive programs to learners
• Provide pathway advice and support to learners
• Conduct on site visits for the purpose of training, assessment and/or practical placement observations as required
Continuous Improvement
• Maintain quality and compliant service delivery
• Participate in validation and moderation to ensure contractual compliance and continuous improvement
• Participate in staff meetings, policy and organisational development activities
Communications
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create awareness and continuously improve delivery
• Demonstrate high level verbal, listening and written communication skills
General
• Comply with all relevant Advance policies, procedures and legislative requirements
• Display high level of personal integrity and professionalism when representing Advance.

Mandatory Qualifications & Expertise:
• Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
• Demonstrated vocational experience in Horticulture and related fields to, at least, Certificate III level
• Current Working with Children Clearance
• Current Driver’s Licence
