Victoria's lockdown lifted and retail to reopen

Victoria’s five-day lockdown will end at midnight tonight, the state’s premier Daniel Andrews has announced. The five-kilometre movement limit and four reasons for leaving the home will be revoked.

Pleasingly, our retailers are allowed to fully reopen and get back to doing what they do best; supplying Victorians with quality plantlife.  Retailers must observe a density quotient of 1 per 2sqm, with record keeping where practicable.

Workers may attend onsite as required. On-site office work is capped at no more than 50 per cent of a workforce on-site (both public and private sectors).

Face masks will remain mandatory inside (except in a residential home) and outdoors when you cannot maintain 1.5m physical distancing (unless a lawful exemption applies).
