Latest horticultural funding opportunities

At NGIV we're always looking for funding opportunities to share with our membership and have supported many businesses to successfully apply. Here are three current Grant Programs your business may be eligible for:

Farm Safety Rebate Scheme

Eligible farm businesses can apply for a rebate of up to $5000 to invest in infrastructure and equipment to keep you, your workers, visitors and family safe. The rebates will be available until the Scheme funds are fully allocated or the closing date of 31 December 2021.

Agriculture Energy Investment Plan 

The Agriculture Energy Investment Plan is open to farmers and businesses whose primary operation is in the agriculture sector. The plan supports agricultural businesses to reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency and explore alternative energy options.

The plan has several components, including:
• Assessments – providing On-Farm Energy Assessments to assist farmers in identifying where they may reduce energy costs. Applications close on 15 July 2021.
• Grants – to support farmers to invest in energy-efficient or own-generation technology within existing energy policy. On-farm energy grants and rebate applications close on 15 December 2021.

Small-Scale and Craft Program

Grants of up to $15,000 are available to eligible small-scale and craft agribusinesses for projects that support businesses to:
• modernise equipment or adopt new technologies
• leverage their  business
• diversify product range
• access new markets
• develop specialised skills.

The Program closes on 26 March 2021 at 11:59pm.
