About the Awards

This is the 33nd year of the Victorian Schools' Garden Awards. The program encourages school communities to utilise their gardens and grounds effectively, and supports the full development of every student.

Indeed the Awards provide a great opportunity for students to explore fresh ideas in the face of water scarcity and climate change. Victoria's recent bushfires also make the program an important vehicle for school rejuvenation.

The Schools' Garden Awards are open to all Victorian Government, Catholic and Independant schools.

This year, the Turf Producers Association of Victoria will also make available to one lucky school in each region a turf and installation package to the value of almost $4,000. This equates to a prize pool value of $35,000! Click here for further details.
