Ideally, the candidate will have qualifications in Horticulture with experience in a sales environment, or extensive experience in sales with a demonstrated interest in Horticulture. Training will be provided to the right person. 

The candidate must be team oriented, personable, with an excellent phone manner. Administrative skills and experience is highly desirable.

This is a part time position between the hours of 9am and 5pm and involves weekend work.

This is a hands on role with responsibilities including overall Stock Control (ordering, receiving, quality control) and management of the Nursery and Despatch team (15-25 members). The manager is accountable for meeting and reporting Nursery and Despatch KPIs to the Managing Director.

Essential skills and attributes:

  *   Horticultural training, horticultural experience or significant plant knowledge.

  *   Experienced team supervisor/manager.

  *   Computer knowledge; MS Excel specifically.

  *   Reliable, self motivated and excellent work ethic.

Some occasional weekend work required. Remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
