To be successful in this position, we require applicants with strong organisational skills and a solid knowledge of plants and propagation techniques.  Additionally, experience in managing a small team of staff and horticultural qualifications are also essential for this role.

We are looking for applicants with wholesale nursery experience, who have a positive and open personality, hard work ethic and a love of horticulture. Keys duties and responsibilities

  • Excellent plant and tree knowledge
  • MYOB experience

Garden Maintenance

If you’re a looking for a position that offers you variety, stability and plenty of over time.. then here it is for you!  Our client provides outdoor maintenance to councils and private sectors across the Easter Suburbs.

They are seeking a reliable and dedicated employee to join their current successful team.

To apply you will need a proven work history working in a similar role within the Parks and Gardens, landscaping, turf or grounds maintenance.

Your role will involve but not limited to the following duties:

Tractor driving (experience essential)- mowing/slashing

Ride on mower- Zero turns/front deck

Operation and maintenance of garden equipment such as brush cutters, hedge trimmers, blowers and edger’s

Tree planting and general garden maintenance

MR licence (preferred but not essential)

Red card/White card

Traffic management

AgChem certificate

A certificate or qualification in Horticulture parks and gardens would be highly advantageous, however is not essential for this role.

An attractive hourly rate is offered with plenty of over time to boot. 

Positions will require you to have steel capped boots, wet weather gear, your licence and your own reliable vehicle as most depots are not easily accessible by public transport.

Sprayer/Weed control

We currently have an immediate start available with a reputable Property Maintenance company in the Eastern suburbs, as they have just recently secured numerous tenders.

This position requires you to have a valid AgVet/chemical users certificate, a White card and a manual drivers licence. The work will be based throughout the Knox council and surrounds. 

To be successful in obtaining this position you will be a suitably experienced with a proven history of weed eradication and prevention on a commercial level, ideally with a council or Property maintenance background. 

As you will be working autonomously you must be self motivated, reliable and punctual.

This position is on a casual on going basis, 38 hour week, with potential to secure a permanent position  with endless opportunity.

You must have steel capped boots, wet weather gear, a manual licence and your own reliable vehicle as the depot is not easily accessible by public transport.
