Bay Road Nursery
Retailers come join the Tree & Shrub Growers for the November meeting to be held at Bay Road Nursery. Owner David Howard has been working in the industry for almost 40 years, with the last 25 years as the owner and operator at Bay Road Nursery.Bay Road Nursery can be divided into three distinct phases; the initial excitement of a new business, expanding into the adjoining property and incorporating a café and the current phase of refreshing the site and the Bay Road Nursery brand.

The meeting will commence with a guided tour of the Nursery (112-114 Bay Rd, Sandringham) and conclude at the Sandringham Club (92 Beach Rd, Sandringham) where you will be invited to attend the 113th NGIV AGM followed by dinner, drinks and presentations.

Andrew Laidlaw
One of Australia’s leading landscape architects and designers. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, award winning designs and high profile projects, Andrew is well known for his in depth knowledge of plants, his mastery of design, and his unique, innovative approach. Andrew will share his story about Global Gardens of Peace (GGOP) an Australian charity founded by Moira Kelly in 2013. The aim of GGOP is to plan, design and deliver gardens to support vulnerable communities around the world. With the philosophy that ‘Gardens are Forever’ and that living landscapes provide people with inspiration, healing and growth and play an important role in rebuilding and uniting these communities. Andrew will share developments in their exciting project in GAZA and will no doubt talk design over dinner with members. 

Gary Doyle
State Manager Transaction Banking, Commonwealth Bank has over 10 years’ experience in the banking sector. He will showcase how CommBank can help members have a greater view and understanding of their customers including gender, demographic, location, spending habits and loyalty through our awarding winning platform Daily IQ.
