Sure Gro was established in 1986 by scientist and innovator Ross Chandler. The company initially provided environmental consulting to customers throughout Melbourne and greater Victoria. Sure Gro was established to provide the Australian market with technically superior products and solutions for land management and erosion control. Since its creation the company has grown to develop one of the largest ranges of environmental products for clientele in revegetation, horticulture and nursery industries nationwide.
In 2016 Sure Gro purchased the Tree-Max business from Geofabrics Australasia. Combining the Sure Gro and Tree Max brands will ensure customers have access to the broadest range of Land Management, Civil Landscape & Horticultural products in Australia. With over 1000 products and backed by over 30 years of experience and industry intelligence. The purchase of Tree Max also saw the company move to a new site. The group will be given the grand tour of the new facility in Braeside.

Thomas Ogren - Author, Speaker, Pollen-Allergy Researcher, Creator of OPALS, USA
Thomas Leo Ogren is the author of four books on allergy-friendly landscaping, including his newest, The Allergy-Fighting Garden. He taught horticulture for 20 years and has owned both retail and wholesale nurseries in the US. Large articles about his work have been published in such journals as The London Times, Der Spiegel, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Guardian. He does consulting for arborists, hospitals, allergists, schools, and cities. He is the owner and creator of OPALS, the world's first numerical plant-allergy scale.

Peter has spent the past 40 years working in the horticultural industry. During this time Peter has had the greatest of opportunities to work with some of Australia’s noted industry leaders. He’s also spent over ten years working for possibly the world’s largest multinational fertiliser company.
In 2011, Peter was offered the opportunity to join the team at Sunpalm Australia Pty Ltd, an Australian manufacturer of horticultural products and controlled release fertilisers. Peter along with his team at Sunpalm Australia have had the greatest pleasure in watching this brand grow over the past 6 years to now when it is fast becoming a household name amongst professional growers and home gardeners alike.
Peters role at Sunpalm Australia is largely hands-on as being an Australian manufacturer, Sunpalm have the knowledge and capability to tailor make solutions for almost any growing scenario.
