Founded in 1903, the Nursery and Garden Industry Victoria (NGIV) is the peak industry body for the state's horticultural industry.

NGIV represents the interests of an industry worth $1.6 billion and employs over 11,000 people with a member base covering production, wholesale, retail and allied trades.

In 2003 the NGIV celebrated its Centenary year - a landmark occasion for the Vic torian Association and its members. Throughout the last century the Victorian Association has been strongly connected and committed to the success of horticultural businesses.

Victorians love their gardens and the NGIV has been there supporting its members to continually improve the way they do business.

NGIV's strategic plan is designed to "build better businesses" and devise strategies to ensure business and the Association continues to be relevant for the next hundred years.
